T-REX®Power is the most complete and versatile product on the market, thanks to its SMX formulation technologically developed by SOUDAL.

Characteristics

Applications

It can be used for indoor and outdoor applications. Great adhesion on most construction materials. It does not contain solvents, neither acids nor isoscianates. It can be applied on wet surfaces, even under water, maintaining all its performance of gluing, fixing and sealing. It can be used in sanitary applications. Extreme ideal initial adhesion for vertical bonding.

Chemical resistance

Poor resistance to aromatic solvents, concentrated acids and chlorinated hydrocarbons. Good resistance to water, aliphatic solvents, mineral oils, grease and alkalis and dilute inorganic acids.

Application Method

Apply the adhesive to a surface with a sealing gun, forming strips or in small pinches (every 15 cm). Always apply adhesive on the edges and corners of the panels. Press the surfaces to join them together and tap them with a rubber hammer. It may be necessary to support the materials you want to paste. The glued items can be charged for complete 24-48 hours.

• Cleaning: Clean with turpentine or surface cleaner immediately after use.
• Finishing: With a soapy solution or Soudal's finishing solution before flaying.

Observations

• T-Rex Gold Power can be painted with most water-based paints; however, given the immense variety of paints and varnishes available, we strongly recommend performing a compatibility test before application.
• The drying time of alkyd resin based paints may increase.
• T-Rex Gold Power can be applied to a wide variety of substrates. Since certain substrates (for example, plastics such as polycarbonate) may vary from one manufacturer to another, we recommend performing a preliminary compatibility test.
• T-Rex Gold Power can not be used as glazing sealant.
• Not suitable for sealing aquariums
• T-Rex Gold Power can be used to bond natural stone, but it can not be used as a joint sealer on these types of surfaces. Therefore, T-RexGold Power can only be used on the underside of natural stone tiles.
• When applying, do not spill any remaining sealant on the surface of the materials.
